At age 17, Angela Gahan has been to more countries and popular travel destinations than your average teenager.
Breaking away from her hometown of Gretna, she’s ventured to Thailand, Jamaica and Europe, to name a few.
“My favorite has been Thailand,” Angela said. “I went for 17 days with my family to visit my sister Olivia.”
Her sister had been living in Thailand for a year, working with a nonprofit organization helping refugees. Like her sister, Angela lent a helping hand to orphans in Jamaica through her church’s mission trip.
Though Angela has gotten the chance to see what life is like around the globe, she plans to stay here in America — preferably Chicago.
